All you need is love

Last night at Kyle's birthday celebration everyone shared why they loved Kyle. It was wonderful to hear everyones thoughts on Kyle and his greatness. Some people loved Kyle for his openness, others love Kyle for his "willingness to go anywhere." The truth is we didn't even scratch the surface because Kyle is such a lovely kind of guy.

After the celebration I went home and thought about how nice it is to openly share one's affection with each other. I feel like we should do this everyday but not just with each other. We should do it with everyone. Can you imagine what that would do to people?

Imagine you are at the gas station and you mention to the clerk you love him for stocking your favorite flavor of beef snacks (Jack Links Louisianna Hot Sauce Flavor for me).

Next you make a stop at the bank to deposit your check. You whisper to the teller that you love him for keeping your money so safe.

Finally you stop at the cleaners to drop off clothes. You put your arm across the counter onto his shoulder and say, "I really love the way you take the stains and wrinkles out of my clothes."

It seems likes such a ridiculous idea. Like something out of a movie, like someone about to die who just realizes they love life and maybe that he hasn't expressed his appreciation to the world so he goes around telling everyone what he loves about them.

But wouldn't this be a wonderful world to live in?
