The wheels on the bus go round and round, then it rockets off the ground and it's taking us on a mighty wild ride to the outer limits of Catch Your Limit.
Push the pedal to the metal, driver, because we are ready to rock and roll!
As if I needed any more proof, our three days and one evening together once again showed we have the right people on the bus to take us to gloryland and then some. We just wrapped up our yearend retreat and our prize for completing it successfully was a free week between Christmas and New Years!
We laughed, cried, reminesed, celebrated, taught, learned, created and planned. And, the new members of the team bonded with each other and us like siamese twins joined at the hip.
Every component of our brand's personality shined through. We were fun, inspirational, strategic and hot. And most of all we were a great team, playing the great game of business to win or as we say, to catch our limit.
We have a saying that goes something like this: fishing is easy, it's the catching that can prove difficult. Our goal was to plot our course, define our roles and build our action plans to make sure we would catch our limit in spite of the perfect storm the whole world finds itself knee deep in.
Words like energised, excited and focused were expressed. But, there was also a real sense of what the challenges were and just how difficult our being successful in these topsy turvey times would be.
Retreating before the charge is something we do at Catch Your Limit on a quarterly basis come hell or high water. We believe it's about the time you say you don't have time to retreat that you need it most.
I really love our team. You talk about diverse ... you don't know diverse until you get to know us.
We have all four generations working together by design. We have tell types, ask types, people focused types and task focused types. We even have a miniature Yorkshire Terrier named Benson to round out the team as a barker type.
From this diverse group comes tension, but from the tension and passionate participation of all hands and paws come great ideas, innovations and solutions.
Watching us in action could be as exciting a spectator sport as you would want to see. But for the ><(("> Team members it is a hands-on, heads-first, hearts-beating-as-one game of a lifetime.
So to you, Catch Your Limit, I stand in awe of your talent and commitment to help each other and our clients catch their limit.
Like I said, it's going to be a mighty wild ride ... a ride that's definitely not for the faint of heart.
