Cutty Sark Solution, Drought Solutions, and War Solutions

Because we are a consulting company Catch Your Limit has insight into solutions for large problems facing organizations. We have the benefit of looking into organizations from the outside which allow a broader view of the whole. Today I will use this perspective to offer solutions to problems effecting mankind around the globe.

Issue #1 Fire at the famous Cutty Sark, the world's only surviving 19th century tea clipper and a prime relic of the golden age of sail, was engulfed by flames Monday, causing extensive damage to one of London's most popular tourist attractions. Officials estimate that it will cost millions more to restore the ship to original condition. http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/europe/05/21/fire.cuttysark/index.html

Solution#1 to Issue #1 Rather than spend millions on the Cutty Sark to restore it spend $1000 to change the plaque to say, "The Cutty Sark, the world's only Burnt 19th Century Tea Clipper." Problem solved. Now the British with the millions of dollars saved from restoring the ship the British are free to spend it one implementing a National Pudding Pop Holiday.

Issue #2 South Florida is as dry as a British comedy. Water restrictions have tightened because of the lack of rain. The Southern part of the state is facing severe water shortages. Florida's bottom half is in an 18-month drought, and signs of the problem are everywhere -- from the links to the nursery and sugar cane industries. http://www.cnn.com/2007/WEATHER/05/21/fla.drought.ap/index.html

Solution #1 to Issue #2 South Florida can and should hire expert rain dancers. Not just any rain dancers but ones that have their own personal assistant like the one in the photo below. These rain dancers can use their tribal mojo to conjure storm clouds and bring the rain.

Solution #2 to Issue #2 If South Florida would prefer to avoid the use of rain dancers because of the extremely high salaries they command another possible solution is a move to camel culture. Rather than see the drought as a negative South Florida has the opportunity to embrace the drought and become a camel society. Since we all know camels thrive on little water this solution makes so much sense. All we would need to do is eliminate the tropical foliage (real water guzzlers) and install fences and import a bunch of camels. Now instead of dumb old plants we'd have camels which wouldn't suck up all of our water.
Issue #3 War in Iraq is costing millions of dollars each day and many American and Iraqi lives. The insurgency is hard to fight because a person pretends they are hurt and when you come to help them they blow you up.

Solution #1 to Issue #3 The insurgency is really just a rebellion. The Iraqis don't like us in their country and see as occupiers so they kill us. What can we do to solves this? When you can't beat them, join them. We should join their militias. This will take the fun out of it for them, we can kill ourselves, blow ourselves up, and sniper ourselves and this way they'll quickly become bored. With no one to kill they'll have nothing to do and then they'll eventually by playstations and Wiis and will be to busy with video games to notice us.

Solution #2 to Issue #3 We could get big planes and fill them with love potion and spray the country with love potion. Once you are sprayed with love potion you love the person you see first and so all we have to do is stand around, let them see us and they will fall in love. The other benefit of this solution is since we are trying to be seen so they can fall in love with us we will have to ditch the camouflage and we'll now have the opportunity to show the Iraqi's our real fashionable side.
