The losses continue to pile up for the Catch Your Limit softball team. In two losses this week the Fish were outscored 21-12. While a last minute no-show may have contributed to the loss last night, the Fish were only able to produce 7 runs on Monday night.
"I don't know what to say, its another week of bad offense and when you can't score you can't win." said team manger Scott Baxley. "What's most frustrating is that this is the same team that averaged more than 16 runs a game during the 20 game spring schedule."
Nobody is giving up yet. While a chance at a post-season berth is all but a twinkling star in a far away galaxy this team knows that the offense can awaken at any time and start putting runs on the board. "It's all about confidence and stringing hits together. Once a few guys start hitting it gets contagious." Baxley said. The Fish next take the field Monday at 7:45. Come out and show your support.
