The Catch Your Limit softball team lost again last night in a 12 - 5 contest against Jerry’s Cigars. “We Suck!” is all Team Manager Scott Baxley could muster while walking off Springsax Field. The loss is the seventh in a row by an uninspired Fish team.
“If we had fans they would be wearing bags over their heads by now.” Catcher Jeff Brainard said.
It’s time for the once mighty Fish lineup to go back to the drawing board. Maybe if the Fish played a tee-ball team they could eek out a victory but those rugrats over at the little league field are pretty good. Wouldn’t want to chance it.
The season mercifully comes to an end next Tuesday at 7:45. Plenty of box seats are still available. I’d go but there’s a Bob Ross special on the tube that night… The guys a genius!
