CYL Softball Suffers 6th Straight Loss

Things looked better for the Catch Your Limit Softball Fish after they posted a 9 run first inning against a first place City Electric Lights Out team. For an offense that has been really struggling of late 9 runs must have felt like 30. Unfortunately for the Fish they couldn't hang on and the Lights Out team eventually chipped away at the lead and took control by the 5th inning.

The final score was 21-15. “It is unfortunate that we only play our best against the best. This team could easily be right up there with the league leaders.” Catcher Jeff Brainard said.

The Fish next take the field Tuesday at 9pm. Revenge is in order as the Fish play host to Jerry’s Cigars, a team that beat them in a tight ball game earlier in the season.
